Unit Size Guide

Below are all of the unit sizes we have available and what the unit is suitable for storing. We would still recommend coming to the facility here at FergySpace to see the unit sizes before committing to rent one.  Each unit is 8 Feet high, so there is plenty of room to stack your items in the safe, secure and dry units.

25 sq ft
This unit is equivalent to the space inside a large cupboard.  It’s suitable for items such as a few boxes, suitcases, and other such items.

35 sq ft
This unit is equivalent to the size of a small garden shed.  This is suitable for small items of furniture such as dining chairs, or a single bed, and a few boxes or suitcases.

50 sq ft
This unit is equivalent to a roughly half a garage or a large garden shed.  This unit is suitable for storing large items of furniture such as a few sofas or a large dining table, a double bed and a few boxes.

75 sq ft
This unit is just smaller than a standard garage. This unit is suitable for storing the full contents of a 2 bedroom property, including: beds, sofas, washer/dryers, fridge and freezers along with a number of boxes.  This unit is also a good size for small business storage, suitable for fitting with racking to increase the capacity for storing stock or archives.

100 sq ft
This unit is the size of a small garage. This unit is suitable for storing the full contents of a small 3 bedroom property. This unit is also a good choice for storing business goods, especially those which are bulky or heavy so can’t be put on racking.

125 - 150 sq ft
Units of this size are equivalent to a large garage and are suitable for storing the contents of a large 3 bedroom property and the contents of a garage.  Similar to the 100 sq ft, these units are suitable for storing business goods, whether its archive storage or stock, these units are fantastic with the possibility of fitting them with racking to make the most of the space.

165+ sq ft
Units these sizes are of a size similar to a small double garage.  These units are good for storing goods from a large property of 4+ bedrooms, or storing business goods.  These units are available but you will need to ask in store for availability as they are much rarer than the rest.
